Jack is Head of Programmes at the Open Data Institute. He is responsible for developing programmes of work around emerging data topics, building multi-disciplinary delivery teams and establishing partnerships with other organisations.
Jack joined the ODI in 2014 and has worked across the organisation’s research, advisory and public policy disciplines. He also established and led the data institutions programme, which works with corporate, government and philanthropic partners to explore new approaches to stewarding data.
He is particularly interested in the economics and value of data, responsible governance, and artificial intelligence. He serves as a board member of Open Supply Hub, a US non-profit that exists to improve human rights and environmental conditions in and around factories and facilities by opening up supply chain data as a free, public good.
